6. Napoleon Dynamite

Let me start this off properly, this movie is horrible. It is about a High school student named Napoleon Dynamite. He's a weird kid that almost no one will hang out with. His struggles with hiss family are also apparent here. The movie is supposed to be a comedy about his life. It shows his attempts to help his new best friend achieve his goals, and to become what he belives is cooler. I think the writer failed when he wrote this movie. If your looking for a pointless and uneventful movie than you may be able to enjoy it. I think the only good thing about this movie is that its easy to make fun of.
Napoleon dynamite was enjoyed by many people around the country. It received 10 awards and 18 nominations for best popular movie, best comedy, best first feature, best movie, breakthrough male, etc. I believe this movie was completely misjudged , and it shows that anything can make it even if it shouldn't. Someday Americans will realize that trash like this dumbs them down so they won't realize whats really going on. I'm not sure what the critics saw in this movie, but it became a huge success around the United States.
This movie for being as bad as it was ,had a lot of talent. Jon Heder and Efren Ramirez gave the best performances they can be expected to give for this movie.They really fit the nerdy 80's style that was portrayed in the movie. Jon Gries and Aaron Ruell did a great job being the weird and crazy family.These two fine actors did a great job creating the crazy, nerdy, Midwestern family that ruin Napoleons life. Although the parts they play are extremely nerdy, these men compose themselves well enough to make the characters seem believable.
